Hey Mike, “Continue here to update your device” link takes you to the Touch Pro 2 page with no DL link. PPCG thread takes you back to the same page with no DL link. You’re such a tease
WTF……….TEASER!!!! LOL
Hahhaa. this one wasn’t intentional guys, I swear.
I accidentally named the Verizon provisioning .cab improperly, therefore it wouldn’t install through the Provision UI. I missed an _ in the filename! My bad!
So I had to reupload quickly… I initally planned for a 9pm release (20 mintues ago) but obviously misfired due to that hiccup!
Once this badboy finishes uploading (15 min) were gonna blow the doors off this server!
cool getting message on my phone saying there is a update available
THANK GOD for you MightyMike. Updated to the sprint rom last night and regretted it since.
Mike, I am not able to enter the domain for Outlook and therefore cannot sync over the air. Can you have a look?
I am currently downloading the sprint version of 6.5. I didnt have pic mail or spritnTV with tha mightyrom version. Is this gonna be a mistake or what?
Most stable Sense 2.5 for the TP2 yet, great work.
A HUGE change, takes a lot of getting used to, but after a few hours messing with it, I actually like it a lot! Nice work as always
Great job MightyMike! This is a great update to the WAR rom I was using.
Thanks for the quick modified sprint rom. I look forward to flashing when I get home. Just a quick question, I like the navigation tab that is on the stock sprint rom. Anyway to get that on one of your awsome custom roms? Thanks again.
for the guy who cant put his domain in… when you get to that screen, make sure your username is just ksmith and not ksmith@domain.com
once you delete the @domain.com part you will be able to put your domain in.
I don’t know about anyone else but this build has been a very rough. I’ve been running nothing but mighty rom for many many months now and havent ever had any probs like this
the only thing I have installed is athe clock flip fix.
currently it is a boot loop. First install went fine and ran nice for 4 hours or so then it locked up. I had not yet rebooted, but all my customizations reverted back to default (ring tone, slider icon arrangment, email accounts) after reboot, it wanted to perform a carrier provision again. since then it’s been stuck in a boot loop… always requesting a carrier provisioning. I’ve re-installed the rom but no avail. I’ll be flashing back to the stock rom again tonight and then resintalling the latest mighty rom…. hopefully that will fix it.
This ROM has hosed my sprint tp2 completely. It started off looking good. Then Myphone stopped responding while downloading txts, I had to pull the battery to reset but it completely reset the phone. Now it’s super slow booting up (took over 10 minutes to boot, it thought it was bricked) The today page doesn’t work right; touch flo keeps saying it’s initializing over and over. sms didn’t work. all the programs feel like they are running at 1/10 speed. All this from a fresh flashing. I can only assume I’ve done something wrong but I don’t know what it is yet…
I loved all the older ROMs but this one’s is no bueno.
thank you for all ur hard work MIKE & EVERYONE else who had helping hand in these GREAT ROMs…1 ? tho, just wondering why i didnt get the UPDATE NOTIFICATION?
Just wanted to say Thanks for all your hard work.. Mightyrom rulez
@MightyMike is there a .cab for adding a programs tab? or at least a manila start menu?
Mike always appreciate the roms and hate to be a party pooper but I’ve been having issues with this release.
Loaded it on my TP2 and for 2 guys I work with and all three of our phones were useless within about 5 or 6 hours. All the same symptoms… gradually slower and slower. Contacts and calendar dissapeared on the two phones that use active sync then…. done. Frozen screens and carrier prompts on reboots.
I download the update and the tp2 works for about 30min. and then the home page goes in blank on a blue screen with messege launching htc sense on home page, it stays like that until i hard reboot other times it crashing. the only thing that i do after the download is set the weather get the marketplace running and download the skyfire from the window marketplace any help!
not sure if this is related but I just reloaded the rom and have been going through step by step to see if i can see any issues.
so far I downloaded the weather and that took a what seemed like a bit too long. After that I setup my exchange account… active sync did grab my mail and contacts and calenadar (tasks unchecked) but active sync is still reporting “connected” and it’s been about 20 mins.
I first loaded onto my own phone with no problems. I then loaded it onto my wife’s phone and was having nothing but trouble. I realized the difference was I had originally flashed my phone with the new Sprint Stock ROM. After flashing the stock rom and then reflashing her phone to Mighty, all the strange hangs and crashes have disappeared and is running smooth as can be. Thanks, Mike!
hey i had the previous rom and i had problems with the weather im in new york n the weather is 50′s over here and on the phone it says 10 degrees, and i also cant send picture messages, i downloaded the new rom and still the same problem is there a way i can get this fixed!!??
@Ju – Mike is a Cannuck so his ROM defaults to Celsius. Choosr Farenheit from the weather menu.
man i’ve been waiting for this. been coming here almost daily cause i didn’t want to install that update from Feb 23 if there was a new one coming out soon (and the update notifier was useless since i was already an update behind). i’m going to download it but hold off on installing it since it seems like people are having issues with it. do we maybe have to do like Tommy G said and flash our official carrier ROMs first? i know i had to do that once before. i’ll keep checking back on it. if any other brave souls want to give it a shot i know we’d all appreciate your feedback. i don’t have enough money for another TP2 so i’ll spectate for a while i guess.
Thanks men, i really really love your stable, battery friendly rom, again, keep up the very good work. and i love the update notification. : )
Does this work with Rhapsody To Go? I flashed to the new Sprint 6.5 even though I love MightyRom b/c it supports Rhapsody to Go.
I flashed from WAR to this by first flashing to my stock rom (verizon). I’ve been using it since last night and have had no issues thus far… Great Rom! Thanks!
hey guys stuck in boot loop. the htc scene was also stuck like it wouldn’t boot up at all. your guy might wait for a fix since more people are having issue like me
ok well it seems like flashing back to stock first will get everything running smooth. i’ll flash tonight when i get off work. can’t wait.
Great Job, Mighty Mike awesome roms. thanks for the effort
things are running smooth so far on sprint tp2 – very fast & excellent battery usage. also flashed from sprint m6.5 stock rom.
I encourage everyone to kick down whatever they can spare and donate to Mike, this is an excellent ROM!
I flashed from the Project MightyROM IMPACT to this new MightyROM Official without any issues
In case anyone was wondering it does work with Rhapsody to Go. Thanks Mike!
Can anyone tell me if Garmin XT mobile is working fine with this release?
Dear Mighty,
I am from India and amongst rare users of touch pro 2 here as its not officially available on any cdma or gsm networks. Mine is the sprint one.
I sincerely adore, admire and envy your skills knowledge and mastery in the field of customizing roms.
Now I have been using your rom launched in on 10th Feb. 2010.
Everything works smooth and fast, that is the reason I am apprehensive to move on to sense 2.5 ui. If only I could specifically know the true difference it will provide me and would not hamper the performance speed and smoothness.
My most important concern which I intend to bring to your notice is that I cant send a multimedia message as the option does not exist. Also there are times I have to forward certain piece of news to as many as 19 friends but everytime I have to one by one add them in recipients. Even though I made a category and added them but I cant seem to be able to send directly to that category.
I will highly appreciate if you could guide me.
Regards,
A fan of your hard work.
thanks mightymike for all of your hard work. i installed this rom and the last rom i had was the project impact and when i installed rom i’ve been having nothing but trouble with it. i read that people have switch to the stock rom 6.5 from sprint(i have sprint) and then flashed to the new updated rom and everything works well. my question is that if i switch back to the sprint rom and then i try this new mightyrom release, do i have to unlock it again(hard-spl)? soryy im a newbie. thanks for all your advice.
mighty, as always you cease to impress. however i have also been experiencing the same sort of slowdown which others have expressed here. just wanted to let you know.
keep it up, you keep this phone alive
sprint touch pro 2
@ Freddy Esteban
once you do the hard spl thing you don’t have to do it anymore. all you have to do is switch back to stock, do a clear storage (i usually take out my SD card, just in case, when i do this), and then flash MightyROM onto it. i use Verizon and i usually have to re-activate mine after a flash back to stock but that’s as simple as calling *228. and then i just put all my cab files in a folder called “XDA_UC” and run the XDA UC app that installs all my apps automatically.
this ROM is amazing. i have never had a ROM that moved so fast. it’s just so snappy. i haven’t seen the battery gains everyone else is getting but it’s not bad battery life by any stretch anyway. Sense 2.5 is great with the program launcher right on the homescreen. it did lock up on my once though and wouldn’t let me enter the Start menu but other than that, awesome release.
Is it me or has anyone else not been able to access all their programs on the phone?????
Not sure if anyones having this problem but i cant call any of my contacts…am i missing something here
Does mighty rom support picture and video messaging. I can no longer send or recv. them.
@ Pat
i think you have to get a patch for it cause it doesn’t natively support MMS. just search XDA for it.
Hey mightymike I just installed your latest rom,, I like it a lot by the way,, i just am having a few problems.. I have never installed a rom before.. well I can not get my mms to work and now i have no weather update..I went to clear storage to see if i could go back to stock setting and i can not i loads with the new rom..What can i do to keep your rom and have mms and weather update or if i cant how can i go back to out of the box settings..
if you could email me i would greatly appreciate it
also the steps i took is ran the hardspl than i ran your rom update and i tried to press the volume down and send and end button at same time it did nothing but than the phone loaded up and i chose the verizon carrier provision than restarted the phone and i started to set everything up that is when i noticed i have no weather update and i tried to send some mms and sms but no luck with mms
I am having issues with my music in this rom. It keeps searching for my music and never finds it. I use sktools and RAM sweeper…would this cause the problem? I have a 16gb SD card and the videos etc work fine, but on sense UI 2.5 the music cannot be located….Any ideas?
Ok guys, I have a few suggestions. First, for those of you that are having problems getting the weather to work, I have noticed that if you open google maps first, and agree to the location services, and allow it to get a clear GPS lock on you, that the weather will work immediately. Also, MightyRoms work just fine with mms – you just need to get a cab for it. They are available on the forum linked on the download page. I have also noticed that I had a problem with this rom the first time I installed it on a friends phone, but not mine. Upon further research, I found that he was running the original stock Verizon rom, which included the older radio. Upgrading his phone to the newer Verizon rom [which included the newer radio] made flashing a breeze. Also remember that it is suggested to flash your phone twice to clear our remnants of old roms.
THANKS MIKE! YOUR ROMS ROCK!
This is by far and away, the best ROM created!
I got a MADNESS message relating to the launch of various M’Soft apps for dev on WIN7 mobile apps.
Great work!
Frank
Super happy with your work!
QUESTION, if I was to restore to Sprint Stock ROM on my HTC TP2, which one do I go back to? The current WM6.5 release or the one that came with the phone which was the WM6.1. I want to try flashing back to stock then flashing the MightyROM RhodiumW Official Update.
I want to try it this way to see if some of the lagginess will disappear.
Any thoughts or ANSWERS? Thanks everyone and thank you Mighty.
Is there a ROM for each carrier? I have a Sprint phoone and only see one TP2 to download.
No, there is only one ROM. On the first boot, it will ask you which carrier you would like to provision for.
Z
Any plans to update the themes? I installed the MNB theme and the phone screen was messed up. I had to flash the ROM again to fix it. Just wondering.
hi Mighty! PLEASE put in new rom, Manila_Documents PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who is the beautiful young lady in the official banner?

I like the way things get done around here….
Hello, A good friend of mine referred me to your site, and I must say that I am very glad that I visited. The information is “gold” to me. I will also be referring some of my friends to your site as well. It is amazing what you can learn online today. Thanks a lot.

No, there is only one ROM. On the first boot, it will ask you which carrier you would like to provision for.
_____________________________________________
Ziggy, isn’t Carrier Provisioning done manually on MightyRom? I’m pretty sure you have to go to Start>System>Carrier Provision.
I used this ROM release and it works great on my phone but I’m a very light phone user, less than 1-phone call a day, and maybe 5-text messages a day. Google Maps and TomTom occasionally. Opera every once in a while. I do use Haali Reader for my books daily. My phone has been perfectly stable with this ROM and I’m very happy with how polished it is.
My wife is a very heavy phone user though, text messages, phone calls, bluetooth car connect, Windows Live Messenger voice clips and chat, Opera, Google Maps, etc. on a daily basis all the time. After almost 3-weeks of working fine since I downloaded it 2010-04-04 her phone looked like it lost all the contacts but not really since call history was still showing names with numbers. After a soft reset to reboot her phone got stuck at MightyROM start screen. A hard reset (erase) fixed the problem.
Windows Live Messenger would corrupt the phone GUI with missing icons when used extensively and would require a soft reset every so often.
I’m reflashing her phone with the official Sprint 6.5 ROM and will do the MightROM 2010-03-23 update again after wards and a resync with her laptop.
I think this ROM needs a little more work, and maybe an update to Windows Live Messenger.
I installed the March 22nd, 2010 MightyROM on my wife’s Verizon TP2. Now the phone randomly dies. It works again (for a while) if I remove the battery and put it back in. I tried a different battery, but the problem persists. I’m gong to reinstall the ROM tonight. Any idea what might have gone wrong?
Have u hard reset your TP2 after upgrading ROM? Use CLEAR STORAGE program in settings to hard reset. If still strange behaviour, try TASK29 way. Good luck
It’s working great now. It took a couple tries of ‘CLEAR STORAGE’ but it hasn’t died since.
Any plans to update the themes? I installed the MNB theme and the phone screen was messed up. I had to flash the ROM again to fix it. Just wondering.
Installed MightyROM today, and somehow I lost the ability to connect to the Internet. I looked at my Comm Manager, and the Data Connection is switch is Off. I flashed back to Win 6.5 and the switch is On (and have an Internet connection). I went back to Mighty ROM but couldn’t figure out the information needed to switch Data Connection On. Please help.
Just picked up an AT&T Tilt 2…..will these ROM’s work on it??
