Windows Mobile 6.5 is soon to become Windows Phone Starter Edition. According to Microsoft, this version of Windows Mobile will be stripped down to one of two versions. One with Office Mobile and one without (Office 2010 when it is officially released).

One persistent problem with the latest Windows Phone builds (6.5.X Builds) is the inability to use a fully featured task manager. Within my latest 6.5.5 ROMs I have managed to get HTC Task Manager going although it still lacks the ability to close a program using the X button. Only the minimize feature currently works. 3 CommentsAdobe apparently sees Windows Mobile in it’s current state as a platform that it isn’t worth investing time or money in. It was revealed earlier this month by an employee of Adobe that they will not be releasing Flash 10.1 for Windows Mobile 6.5. (more…)
3 CommentsI am sure many people are familiar with software such as SPB Backup and use it quite frequently, although there is one underlying issue with software such as that. For one, in most cases it backs up your entire registry, therefore when restoring your settings on a different rom platform, you can inmost cases run into many unwanted issues.
