Dark Ninja from XDA-Developers has created a wonderful task bar for our devices which features an Android style look to it. I have been using it for the last few days and just as many other task bars available it lacks certain drivers making it compatible with current MightyROM releases. Not anymore!
Few things to note. The biggest problem with the task bar is the out dated HTCVolumeControl.dll. Although the task bar works quite flawless, it does break volume control bars within the HTC Music tab and in some other areas of the device. I have updated the task bar myself to contain the latest Volume_Control_2_2_20113221_00 driver within the latest MightyROM WAR series.
Expect full functionality with this task bar causing no glitches. Wonderful work from Dark Ninja obviously, creating all the icons and such. It is by far one of the nicest task bars I’ve seen in quite a while, in fact possibly of all time. Here are the changes I’ve made within the task bar:
1) Volume_Control_2_2_20113221_00
2) Removed Grey task bar modification. Now includes flat black

How do you install this? Im kinda of a newbie, i know how to do the basics but when i downloaded this it broke up the files..
1) Download File
2) Hook up your phone to your pc and transfer the file to your device
3) Using file explorer, navigate to where you put the file and click on it
4) It will install and restart your device and *poof* installed

Looks cool! I’m running IMPACT so I don’t see the Start menu but my DROID-using wife recognized the rest of the menu right away
Should be no problem to install your android Taskbar cab on my Topix Rom (Touch HD, Win 6.5 21892), shouldn’t it?
Im running Mr.X Rom and I would like to know how to enable enable picture texting.. Meaning I would like to send pictures through text. thanks a lot in advance for the help
how do you get the battery level to display?
Looks really good, but the bluetooth icon was not cropped right. You can still see some outlines.
