There are quite a few users who may not always have access to a computer when their favourite ROM has been updated or released. That being said, It’s always quite the task to have to sort through your file explorer and rename files just to get the new upgrade kicking. Wideawake from PPCGeeks has created an easier method of doing so.

PPCGeeks ROM Flasher is a tool that will sort all your .nbh files you have on your storage card. One issue is that in order for the phone to recognize a ROM on the sd card, it has to match the proper file name to trigger itself in bootloader (For example : RHODIMG.nbh for Touch Pro 2 devices) This can become quite annoying to sort out all your ROMs on your phone. This nifty utility has preset device configurations, therefore when you select your following file and device, it will automatically rename the file for you, push your phone into boot loader more and proceed to flash your device. An easy way of explaining this would be the following. You have two roms on your phone, MightyROM 022310 and MightyROM 022410. Easily select the latest version, it will rename the file and do the rest for you. This is a great idea considering it allows you to easily manage your ROM library and stay organized. Although the tool is still in beta form, it is already working quite well and will be getting updates frequently.

Head on over to PPCGeeks to get the scoop

I still wish I understood what the hell this did. I’m still trying to figure out how XDA_UC works. Man do I wish there was better documentation for all this stuff, but I can’t complain. The fact that so many people (like mightymike) do this and provide it out there for free is amazing and so appreciated. Thank you mightymike for all you do!

Hi, I’m stuck in LOVE :P After installing the 6.5.3 LOVE ROM, I’m not able to connect to ActiveSync. Have tried all possible options to resolve this. I can connect as an USB, USB as modem but ActiveSync does not connect. Connection to my Exchange works fine.

Anyways, I need to go back to the official ROM and need help to do it using SD flash. If you can help me with step-by-step on what I need to do.

Where do I get the .nbh files? I have the .exe that I downloaded; If you can help me what do I do next. Thank you.

Any motorist will know that, no matter how much money you pay for a car, how new or old it is, there will always be something that can go wrong. It doesn’t matter how rare the fault is, or how well the car runs most of the time, eventually something can go wrong – and when it does, you often find yourself having to hand over plenty of cash to get it repaired.
